Q. Do we take pets?
A. Yes we do, providing they are well behaved.

Having said that, we would probably not be too pleased if you arrived with a Boa Constrictor, or a tarantula - however tame and well mannered they were!

	Q. Do the bedrooms have views? A. The hotel has 5.5 acres of wonderful formal gardens and woodland which all the rooms overlook. The views from the hotel across open countryside are stunning.

Q. Do you have log fires in the Winter and fresh flowers on display in the public rooms?
A. Yes, we have a permanently burning log fire in the Great Hall throughout the Winter, and we always have fresh flowers on display throughout the year.

Q. How close are the nearest shops?
A. The town of Kingsbridge is only 1.75 miles away. A refreshing and invigorating downhill walk to get there, but a bit of a problem walking back. I should take the car or get a taxi!

Q. Are there any good beaches in the area?
A. Yes there are numerous spectacular beaches within a 10-mile radius, all of them having their own special and unique character. The one you choose will depend on whether you want to play with your bucket and spade and make sand castles, or you simply want to skim stones across the waves. (Some of the best beaches in the country can be found only 6 miles from Buckland-Tout-Saints).

Q. Do we have a licence to conduct civil weddings?
A. Yes we do. Buckland-Tout-Saints is a fabulous venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Four different rooms are licensed to hold the actual Civil Ceremony itself, and there is a beautiful little church adjoining the hotel, where church weddings take place if preferred.

Q. If we arrive by train, do you have any transport to pick us up from the station?
A. The nearest station is Totnes. If you feel that you can rely on the railways to deliver you on the correct day, we will collect you in the hotel’s luxury Mercedes People Carrier; from there or anywhere else you or the railways choose. Q. Do we have a lift in the hotel?
A. We do not, as the layout and age of the hotel does not permit it. Unfortunately we can therefore only accept guests who can stagger up the stairs - up to two flights!

Q. Are there any good golf courses in the area?
A. Yes. Within a few miles we have Thurlestone, Bigbury on Sea, and Dartmouth Country Club. Less than 25 miles away we have courses such as St. Mellion and Moretonhampstead.

Q. Do we have conference facilities and associated equipment such as OHPs, screens, projectors etc.?
A. Yes we do. Providing someone else can use them!

Q. Do we offer special weekend breaks?
A. Yes we frequently have special weekend breaks and other offers, such as "one night for the price of two", the details of which are normally displayed on the "Accommodation Tariff Page" of this website.

Q. Do we ever organize other activities?
A. Yes, we can organize any activity you should desire, from pot holing to hang gliding and scuba diving to bungee jumping! If you prefer we can arrange more sedate activities such as sailing, fishing, shooting etc.
